Milestone Day

Finally at age 7, Eli has lost his first tooth.. A big day here, he woke us up in the middle of the night to tell us how loose his tooth was. This morning he was worried about going to school and losing it there. Which is exactly what happened, 2 bites into sandwich. He was very excited to show off his new gap, so I thought I would share his new look. He is growing up! He asked me tonight if I would cry when he went away to college, I said yes, he responded "Me too".

LIfe and times of Eli

Today Eli turns 7! Yes, you read correctly he is 7 years old today. What an amazing 7 years it has been. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect child, in a mothers eyes. He is kind and generous, smart and thoughtful and very smart. He has such a fun personality that you can't help laugh when you are around him. I am thankful that he still likes to snuggle and be close to his parents. He is such a great big brother, always looking out for Asher, when he is not antagonizing him of course. Eli has really made my job very easy and I can only hope that we continue to have such a strong bond over the coming years. Happy Birthday to my first baby boy!

Changing it up a bit.

I was getting bored with the old layout so I thought I would get crazy. This one is called "Cotton Candy", we will see how long this one lasts.

Asher found a ladybug and was very enthralled and got nose to nose with it, and then got very upset when Mom set it free. Mean mom!

Eli is taking swimming and tumbling and will be starting baseball soon, these are all about one hour, once a week so no overlap and no overwhelming. He also has his 1st grade musical coming up and is pretty nervous, but I don't think he has much of a part so that will be fun to see.

Brian and his partner will be moving into their own studio space within the next few weeks, and it is a great space! Very exciting.
